Friends, after you listen to the story – try out your own ice rink experiment. Follow Liz’s instructions, make your predictions, and see what happens! How COOL is that?
Another fun activity to compliment this story is to take an ice cube and place it outside. Grownups, help your young learners make predictions what will happen to the ice cube. Take a picture of the ice cube after 1 minute, after 5 minutes, and again, after 10 minutes. Were your predictions correct? Then, compare the pictures. Are there differences in the pictures? Are there any similarities? Talk about all this and more with your kiddos to keep the learning going!
