Building My Unique House

Students explore their personal strengths, interests, goals, and qualities by completing a self-reflection worksheet and creating a “unique house” that represents who they are. The activity helps build self-awareness, confidence, and leadership skills while celebrating the differences that make each student special.

Grounding Exercise

Students learn and practice the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique, a coping strategy that helps them focus on the present moment during times of stress, worry, or frustration. By identifying things they can see, feel, hear, smell, and taste, students develop resilience and learn a practical tool for managing emotions.

Heart of the Handy Helper

Students work together to brainstorm ways they can help classmates, teachers, their school, and their community. After discussing ideas, each student chooses one helpful action, writes it on a heart-shaped cutout, and commits to being a “Handy Helper.” This activity promotes kindness, teamwork, responsibility, and community involvement.

Marshmallow Team Challenge

Students work in small teams to design and build the tallest or most creative structure using marshmallows and toothpicks. Through planning, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration, students learn the importance of teamwork while tackling a fun hands-on engineering challenge.

Positive Change for Our School

Students reflect on changes they can make to improve their school environment for themselves and others. Through writing or drawing, they share ideas for making positive changes and discuss how teamwork and personal responsibility can help create a safer, more supportive school community.

Rolling Respect

Students explore the meaning of respect and its connection to kindness, acceptance, and anti-bullying. Using a dice game, they respond to prompts about showing respect to themselves, family members, peers, neighbors, and others, encouraging reflection on how respectful actions strengthen relationships and school culture.

Coloring and Activity Book

This activity book introduces students to TEAMology’s six social-emotional learning foundations: problem solving, acceptance, positive change, helping others, resilience, and leadership. Through coloring pages, puzzles, mazes, connect-the-dot activities, career exploration exercises, and short stories featuring TEAMology characters, students build social-emotional skills while learning how these skills connect to everyday life and future careers. The activities encourage self-reflection, empathy, teamwork, resilience, and positive decision-making in a fun and engaging format
